My Beloved Son Part 13

My Beloved Son:

Hear Him! Part 13

There are many stories and relationships of good father and son relationships. Even the best of these also include pain and disappointments as well. It is through those ups and down we engage life experiences in resolving misunderstanding and life disciplines. These things shape young men to face life challenges, and develop into productive independent, self-sufficient adults, ready for marriage, work relationships, friendships in independent and satisfying living. My Beloved Son, is meant for those living in pain causing us, as a man, to make painful life style decisions, in a defensive or aggressive way from that pain!

Discipline is painful, but “IF” our father’s, or men in our lives had come along side and helped us to see and understand, to save us from our own foolishness, they could have saved us from ourselves, and given us a better direction! Wow-What IF? Self-discipline is what is to be developed from our fathers’ disciplines. Discipline of our father and mother working together, is a lost ART; A Lost LOVE for children; And lost Vision to see Greater Things! Family has lost its unique purpose to nurturer and discipline children into productive adults that are reproductive, with strong identity, purpose and vision for their own lives and family.

There are many stories of great father and son relationships. But many times, that same child can grow up, leave home, and make their own decisions, based on their new-spouse, or new-source of influence, and leave parents thinking: “What just happen?”

People live in horrific pain, anger, blame, rejection and lash out at everyone who reminds them of their past! So, what does a good relationship actually look like? A relationship filled with blessing, joy, peace, love unashamed, without guilt or fear.

There is a Man who can show us what that looks like!

Amazingly: Jesus! He honored His Father! Maybe, more, amazing how Father honored Jesus in most amazing ways. Most fathers have difficult times recognizing and blessing their sons’ “man-hood!”

Jesus Birth

Father GOD, opens the heavens and announces His Beloved Son’s birth! Every man, every fathers’ pride in his first son’s birth, can be amazing in the moment! And ABBA is no exception-a Proud Father! He opens up heaven and lets the angels sing over Jesus and make Glory Shine on Him-even in a manger!?

What? Manger? What kind of Glorious entry into our world is this?

The Angels sing His Praises! “Hosanna; Glory to GOD in the highest!”

Shepherds in the fields witness all heaven open, hearing millions of angles singing and announcing His Birth-In Bethlehem! The least in the villages of Israel.

Shepherds? The least in the jobs to have in Israel, what is this Father thinking!

GOD’s thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways. GOD does not think like a sinner thinks in broken pride, angry at GOD, and angry at his world. Men think as sinners, against the Rule of GOD. But, GOD now opens Heaven to rejoice, and shepherds who are the least on earth are invited into this Kingdom announcements; “A Child; The King is born; Go and see!”

The lowly, the least: For of such is the Kingdom of GOD! Unless we come as a child! We are invited into the realms of GOD, Glory, Presence and His Way! Pride is the stumbling stone on which men fall! Humility and contrition, is the Way of Holiness and Glory… awakening the senses to Who GOD is and what we have become without HIM!

Look and See! Listen and Hear! Join with all-encompassing glory and worship of the High and Holy One. He is come down, to be the humblest of men, with the heart of ABBA. He comes to destroy the works of sin, and to reconcile those bound under darkness in slavery in sin, to redeem them back to their true heritage as sons of GOD!

Age 12, the boy Jesus, somehow knew His True ABBA was in Heaven! And He engaged in the business of Heaven, being about His ABBA’s Business: The Kingdom of GOD, His true home and realm in which he walked!

Jesus Baptism

Age 30, Jesus now steps out of obscurity into the Jordon River with John the Baptist, in Water of Baptism. Jesus was making a public statement, becoming a testimony of being set apart from this world, declaring Himself to be a true follower of the LORD! Circumcised in flesh at 8-years old, now circumcised from the identity of the world and its carnal nature, to be marked as uniquely the “Son of GOD!”

Later, Jesus would tell Mary, His mother, at the Wedding of Cana, to fade back, this Story is no longer about Mary and Joseph, but about ABBA and Son-Lord Jesus Christ! When they had ran out of wine at the wedding, Mary wanted Jesus to do something about it: “What do I have to do with you!” Another words: Mary: time to back off! People need to see me as the Son of GOD, not the son of Mary; Not the son of Mary and Joseph of Nazareth! It is time I become identified as only the Son of GOD, for it now time, for His Work, that is why I have come! He was the Lamb of GOD, redeeming all men for all time, for whosoever will Believe, to be saved! One cannot be born into Christ, in a natural way, but every man must be Born Again of the Holy Spirit into Lord Jesus Christ!

At Jesus baptism, ABBA declares: “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

What amazing declaration, affirmation, blessing He announces over His Son! Jesus can feel the joy, affirmation, pleasure of His Father, so much, Jesus says: “I do only what He is doing; I say only what He is saying; I did not come to do My own will, but the will of My Father!” There is no greater Joy, Honor, Pleasure ABBA can express with Jesus. Jesus sees and hears such amazing and wonderful affirmation, with pleasure from His Father, being His Son!

How many sons hear from their fathers, the opposite of what Jesus heard from His? All sons seek and yearn to hear these very works spoken over them from their father. But here it is!

Jesus Transfiguration

Jesus takes three disciples with Him up on a mountain top one day. He desires to give them a peek into the relationship He has with His Father. In Scriptures it seems these are the three closest to Him from all His disciples. This is going to be a uniquely special moment, a moment of revelation, He desires to reveal Himself more significantly to them.

Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

(Matthew 17; Mark 9; Luke 9; 2 Pet.1:17,18; NKJV)

Jesus takes a few close disciples with Him for a small hike one day. Jesus surprised them with His amazing Glory, He desires to reveal Himself. As they come to the top of the mountain, something amazing begins to happen; Jesus clothes and person, begins to shine-with GLORY! Then suddenly, Elijah and Moses, two great Old Testament characters appear!

They see, hear, and know them by name and face! The three disciples are overwhelmed and start to speak comparing Jesus as a man with Moses and Elijah! They want to build alters, places of remembrance and worship there… They must DO something! ABBA again speak direct to these disciples, to be quiet and listen to Jesus, in this most amazing account of Transfiguration; ABBA declares again with affirmation, acceptance and pleasure:

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

Jesus is no mere man in identity! He is recognized as Father-GOD’s Son! JESUS CHRIST is uniquely “The Son of GOD; My Son!”

Then comes the most astonishing command: “HEAR HIM!”

Who is listening to the LORD JESUS CHRIST?

Who is listening to ABBA?

When people say: “I believe in “GOD!” GOD calls them liars!

How? Why? JESUS says, IF you believe in GOD, you will honor and believe JESUS CHRIST! If you do not believe in JESUS CHRIST-You do not believe nor honor GOD!

That is rough; Harsh; True! Truth sets us FREE!

“I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father but by Me!” John 14:6.

You will know truth, and The Truth will set you free!” John 8:32.

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1.

Listen; Hear; Learn; Obey! Walk with Jesus Christ! HE walks in ABBA’s Way!

Everything Jesus Christ says and does is in Mirror Reflection of ABBA’s Heart, Words and Works! Jesus says: When you see Me-you SEE-Understand ABBA! There is no difference or shadow of difference between them! Jesus says of Himself: “I AM!” Same Word used of GOD in Old Testament, when introducing Himself to Moses:

14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said,

“Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Exodus 3:14

Throughout the book of John, Jesus identifies Himself the same way; “I Am the Way; Truth; Life; Bread of Life; Resurrection and Life; Gate; Door; Good Shepherd; I Am!”

Pilot as Jesus trials asks Jesus; “Are you the King of the Jews?”

Jesus answers: “I Am, as you say!”

Pilot declares, I find no fault in Him! Then proceeds to condemn Him to death on a cross! He is declared to be the perfect, sinless, Lamb of GOD under scrutiny! No imperfection in Him!

(Recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

Now: It is time to lay down!

Be quiet; Stop speaking and listen! Become quiet in your heart and mind! Stop the racing theology and arguments of men’s wisdom, and engage The LORD’s Presence! How? Invite HIM!

“LORD, here I am! Come! I am waiting for You!

LORD-You have done a lot to being me to this moment-and I stop running and hiding from You! You are a Good-Good Father! I have not been a good son! In fact, I have been a rebellious and lousy son to you! In truth, I feel like You have dealt me a dirty hand to live with and die! Everything has been so unfair!

“Nothing is fair!”

What JESUS did for you and I was not fair: IT was LOVE!

Love is not fair! Grace; Mercy; Love; The cross is not fair! JESUS death was not fair! Your Life-JESUS paid to Redeem, and men’s rejection of His Love, Life, Devotion is not fair!

The love of GOD-in Lord Jesus Christ-is bestowed upon us! All by faith alone! We each simply must and can yield and surrender in love, appreciation and wonder! Amazing, how great is His Love for each of us….manifest in Christ alone.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3; NKJV

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12–13 (NKJV)

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10 (NKJV)
