My Beloved Son Part 14

Son Loves Father

John 5; Part 14

19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. John 5:19–20

It is an amazing thing to see a son bless his father. Most sons set out to please their father, to find his love, approval, acceptance, and so doing, welcoming him up to being like his dad!

It is when these attempts to find approval, affirmation, or attention fail, and worse are met with distain, rejection, or comparisons to someone else, self-worth is diminished and retreats. Walls of protection begin to build as protection from that father figure. Finding oneself as unwanted, rejected, or abandoned, the heart rejects wanting to be like father, and worse, reject his image as admirable.

Sons are then left to search for an identity that makes them feel protected and empowered. Men can create something of a self-image to live bigger and more defiantly, to dethrone his father’s likeness, as being unfavorable and without honor! This however, as it is clearly put, is now a false image of our own making! Fathers around the world are failing in their purposes for their sons. Where is the love of fathers for their treasured sons!

This is how fathers curse their sons!

Look in the prisons: cement, mental or emotional. Where were the fathers?

Look at the streets filled with madness of boys and girls, now in adult bodies, raging in rebellion against authorities, because there are no authorities who love them! Government and laws cannot love!

A policeman once told me; “Only JESUS can save and prevent crimes from happening! We can only arrest them after the crime has been committed!” He welcomed us into his town to share The JESUS Film! Jesus comes the same today, still seeking to save the lost! We are all lost without Christ, in Whom is found ABBA’s Love!”

Here we see Jesus actually showing what it is to be in Right Relationship with Father-GOD! Jesus knows what ABBA desires, and does that! Jesus speaks the heart of ABBA and does His Work His Way! What greater pleasure can a father feel toward his son, when he sees his son mimicking himself-his dad-in an honoring way! It has got to be a great moment to see his son doing and saying the same things, maybe in away even better than his father trained him!

What happened between Jesus age 12-30! There is only one story in the Bible shown about Jesus being about His Father business at a young age…

41 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43 When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother did not know it; 44 but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day’s journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45 So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.

48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.”

49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me?

Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them. 51 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart.

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Luke 2.

Jesus was obedient to His mother Mary and Joseph; During the next 18 years, He learned to be in subjection to ABBA in Heaven, His realm, His Kingdom, His Business!

What is that?

John 5:19-20-There is more to ABBA & JESUS than you know!?!

JESUS willed to honor and please His FATHER!

FATHER Loves you: Your Name! John 3:16-17

Jesus: Heart for ABBA!

39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Matt. 26:39

30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. John 5.

37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6.

28 Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. 29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” 30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8.

48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” John 12.

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. John 14.

Jesus honored His Heavenly Father! He honors Him is such a way in listening and learning from His all His ABBA spoke to Him through His Word and Spirit-Heart to Heart! Jesus did all things ABBA revealed of His Way, Truth and Life. Even understanding the way of judgments and testimonies of history.

See: Jesus is like ABBA!

See how he loves and forgives the woman caught in adultery! Amazing! He does not “look at her in disgust or lust” as He lowers His eyes to cover her shame. No condemnation? He forgives her, opening the door for reconciliation and freedom to repent, going and sinning no more! No more adultery! GOD never accepts us and our sin! He forgives and delivers us from our sin-THAT IS LOVE! He reaches down to forgive and free us from our addictions and snares of the devil where we are trapped. He sets us free from false identities and the prisons of our minds and emotions. He sets us free from our vises, to no longer live in bondage in our sins, but to live free as loved and accepted by Him, without judgement or condemnation, being reconciled to GOD as sons and daughters, according to the pleasure of His will. (Romans 6 & 8)

“GOD loves me just the way I am! He made me this way!” The devil is a liar, and is the god of this world! The whole world follows the devil who leads men in defiance against the Ways of GOD! The Devil is at enmity with GOD and men! The devil hates all people and creation itself, unredeemed and in bondage in sin, to death… on many levels.

Jesus is the Truth that brings repentance and forgiveness, that frees the soul to Life! Like an Eagle meant to Fly, so GOD sets us free to fly from the cage of sin, against GOD! Cage-bondage-strongholds and addition: that is the devils work! Jesus is pictured as a Good Shepherd-The Door, to bring us to Life!

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10.

Pick up your Bible! Read! Pray-Engage!

ASK: “LORD, open my eyes to see; ears to hear; heart to obey; Heaven come down and govern my heart-I need your Love; Grace; Mercy; Promises of Freedom from sin to Son!”

“I am a loved son!”

“I chose to repent of my ways, to obey My True Father in Heaven! The greatest honor and pleasure I can give GOD, is to honor Him, and Jesus Christ Whom He sent! Thank you, Jesus for giving your life on the cross, taking the punishment of my sin. For canceling my debt of sin, and making a way by faith, to come into this ABBA/Son relationship. (Romans 6 & 8)

I yield and submit, to honor You LORD, by repenting of my ways, to now walk in obedient love and faith with you. Thank you, ABBA for sending Jesus, and thank you Jesus for coming for my life; I am Your! Amen!

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10
